At Lavelle Bikes, custom work isn’t a bolt-on service — it’s what we do best. As a small, precision-obsessed engineering house, we build one-off wheelsets and components for riders whose needs sit far beyond the commercial catalogue.

Our track record includes: E-bike wheel systems, fully monocoque carbon gravel wheels made with our own in-house moulding methods, special wheels for Tom Boonen, bespoke builds for Jaegher, race-tuned wheels for The Traka and the Northern Lights gravel races, hubs for a Downhill World Cup Finals champion, and instant-engagement prototypes for elite BMX racers.

If you need something unusual, ambitious or technically extreme, we’ll build it to aerospace-level tolerances with zero compromise.

But we’re just as happy creating simple, affordable custom builds — for example pairing your preferred rims with our hubs, or tailoring a wheelset to match the exact riding feel you want. Whatever the project, big or small, we’ll build it to the standard that defines Lavelle.
